S09 Auto Resistance Bike

Very quiet and smooth ride. Good resistance to simulate hills.

I purchased this bike to experience a more interactive workout. After receiving and using the bike it started to display an E01 error. In the middle of rides the bike would randomly turn off and display E01. No data was being displayed when I worked out but I could still control the level. It worsened to the point where the E01 would display after a few seconds (meaning I could never complete a workout with the information that is supposed to be displayed like time, distance, calories etc) A few weeks later the display failed completely and simply would not measure anything for any time span.
After reaching out to customer service, they agreed to provide a 70% refund. Then they basically ghosted me. Its been well over a month and I am still waiting. They claimed they were having trouble processing the refund. They have stopped responding to my emails. Dont throw your money away, especially because they will not back their product or honor their warrantee.

So after some research and trying Peloton at a Hotel stay, I decided to buy this. Fraction of cost compared to Peloton, main difference it has no screen, and I don't have to pay $44/month to use it.
Ride very smooth and I can change resistance according to my need. I have used it a few times.
The app on iPhone works well and I can compare the data to my regular road bike routine.
The complaints from numerous people regarding seat is not an issue as I am used to road bike for years. I would recommend using proper bike shorts with adequate padding. I will change the seat as I like shorter and less wide seat, as on the road bike.
Durability: too early to comment as I have used it only a few times. Will update if any issues later on.
It can be used as primary exercise equipment, or in my case add on to my road bike routine for rainy days.

This is a great indoor bike! It doesn't look like your standard spin bike, it's got it's own unique design! In my book it just out classes other brands. As in performance! Quiet, adjustable, and stable. Seat comfort! Nice padded seat, but everyone's sit bones are different so I changed my seat. The magnetic resistance is great, you can go from 0 up to max + and stand and pedal to your heart content. Very pleased.

The Merach S09 bike is a solid piece of equipment. It was well packaged and easy to put together, it took less then 30 min. After putting it together then trying it out I was overly impressed of how quite it is, it doesn't make a sound and the bike doesn't move or shake. The feature that I like most is the Merach app with all the different training routines. The only complaint I have is the seat its very uncomfortable but if you are into racing and leaning forward I guess it would be comfortable. But me and my wife sit more upright like a regular bike. So we change the seat and it works great. Also after you register the bike you Mercy extend your warranty another year.
