This Vibration plate does all the work all you have to do is stand there. Each session runs for 10 mins. Unless you’re on auto. I absolutely love this plate. I am eager to go on it and will stick with it to see results.
I received my vibration plate last week. I got the OG one in pink. I’m 68 years old and recently lost 35 pounds and I now have some loose skin as well as pre-existing sciatica. I started off on the walking setting and slowly worked into the jogging level so far. Here’s some of my tips:
- start slow for your first few days/week
- don’t look down at the plate while standing
- keep your knees slightly at ease
- you may experience some tingling/itching in your legs when done
- you’ll probably need to urinate afterwards
- after my 3rd day, I felt a bit sore in my core but nothing uncomfortable
- when just starting out, don’t try to use the exercise band, just focus on balancing yourself
- check out the instruction videos on YouTube
- I’m on the second floor of my condo building and the plate is really quiet - no complaints from neighbors
- my plate is on my carpet and doesn’t move at all when in use
- only drawback for me is the power cord is very short
I was NOT paid for this review. It’s just my personal experience. I’m going to have my 86 year old father try it out for his neuropathy in his feet because you can sit on a chair with just your feet on the plate. Hopefully it will help him, too.
This machine is the best purchase I've made for myself it gives me the shake n vibration in all the right spots even one's i didn't know existed I use mine 2x a day 20mins if not 3x I've noticed a huge difference in my legs and belly area
I like this product. Worka well and is easy to use. Company is also easy to work with when the remote was accidentally put through the washing machine.
This will work for seniors but go very slow in the very beginning on the lowest setting for 3-5 minutes and wait for your body to adjust the next day...good idea to check with your MD and Ortho doc before you use or purchase it since this gadget is pretty powerful but not extreme on the lower settings...if you have a slipped disc or severe bone loss, check with your medical experts 1st before purchasing this unit
